As you all know, Skaling Ventures does not play the venture game. VCs look for companies tackling enormous markets (ie TAMs, or Total Addressable Markets) that have demonstrated explosive growth. They typically take minority positions and assume that 20% of their investments / bets will generate 80% of the required returns.
Micro SaaS focuses on firms tackling niche markets that have demonstrated moderate growth and profitability. Further, we are highly active, taking full control and operational stewardship of each business.
With the above said, there is an EXTRAORDINARY amount of insight for both investors / acquirers and operators in these memos.
