In our context, let’s assume we are inheriting / acquiring Product Market Fit (PMF). It follows then that our value creation / transformation playbook must be rooted in identifying productive channels (aka distribution) to generate user acquisition and MRR growth, or perhaps via revenue model optimizations (how we monetize the value a product provides). The market, on the other hand, is outside of our control.
Thanks to Brian Balfour and the folks at Reforge, we have a language and vocabulary for this discussion to begin with. Frameworks are a very useful way to identify components and relationships such that we as operators can uncover / pull levers and measure execution in any given domain.
